I am planning to organise a silent homage to marina victims on Jan 26th.
It will be on the palavakkam beach and the ground in front of it.
It will be a silent homage. There will be a place where people can express their token respect for people who died in Monday Morning carnage by placing flower and garlands.
It will start at morning 6:00 a.m.
These are the code of conduct.
* No Shouting !! No Slogans
* The participants tie their mouth with black ribbon
* There will be stone or pedestal where people can place garments to respect those who lost their lives. They can write the names of the people to whom they want to show respect.
* There will be a ledger where people can express their anger and sadness.
* The participants are requested to make three commitments (optional).
They can express their commitments by signing it.
The Commitments are:
* We will protect and preserve our food chain and not allow international commercial forces to take control of it.
* We will preserve and cherish traditional and cultural symbols and values while preserving human and animal rights.
* Police, the friend of people, should be accountable to people. People should have the right to monitor police station by installing CCTV cameras bought by their expenses.
* We will install CCTV cameras in police stations from our pockets and monitor them through internet. There should be no harm in monitoring friends service to people.
People who are willing to participate can express it in their comments. I am a resident of Thiruvanmiyur. I got moved by the recent events. I got chance to directly interact with victims .
